Domy szybko zyskują na wartości oraz popularności wśród Polaków. Podobnie jak mieszkania są one dobrą inwestycją w dobie galopującej inflacji i potrafią ochronić oszczędności, a nawet je pomnożyć. Nic więc dziwnego, że przeznaczone pod nie grunty, sprzedają się dziś jak ciepłe bułeczki.
Wiele osób rezygnuje z życia w dużym mieście i przeprowadza się poza jego granice, za cenę mieszkania kupując dom. Według portalu Forsal.pl, na przestrzeni lat 2007-2017 odsetek Polaków mieszkających w domach wzrósł z 49,7 proc. do 57,4 proc. Więcej osób przeniosło się wtedy do domów wolnostojących, a nie do szeregowców czy bliźniaków. Natomiast w 2021 r. w czasie pandemii aż 50 tys. Polaków opuściło aglomeracje, by zamieszkać na obszarach podmiejskich – podaje portal FxMag. PKO BP informuje ponadto, że w tym czasie wzrosła liczba rozpoczynanych budów domów (o 17,5 proc. więcej r./r.), a w pierwszych miesiącach 2022 widoczna była kontynuacja tego wzrostu (styczeń – wzrost o 3,7 proc. r./r.; luty – wzrost o 14,1 proc. r./r.).
